Terms of Service

In short: everything here is education, not advice. Prices and news come from third parties and from AI pipelines that can be wrong. The Telegram bots are provided as-is; Premium in Santala Bot costs 100 Telegram Stars for 30 days, does not renew automatically and can be refunded if it does not work. The law of the place where we are established governs, without taking away the consumer protections of your own country.

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

Santala Research ("we", "us") is an independent, non-commercial blockchain research and education project run by a small group of contributors, reachable at contact@santala-research.com. These Terms govern your use of:

• the website santala-research.com, its feeds and files (the "Site");
• the Telegram bots Dryup (@dryup_bot) and Santala Bot (@santalars_bot), including the Santala Bot Mini App and the Premium tier (the "Bots").

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and forms part of these Terms.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the Site or a Bot you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Bots or buy Premium; the Site may be read by anyone. If you use a Bot in a Telegram group, you confirm you are allowed to add it there.

3. What we provide

• Research reports, blog articles and a glossary on blockchain technology (Site).
• AI-generated crypto news summaries about every 6 hours, an hourly "Radar" of trending topics and research briefs (Site).
• Live market data and an on-chain terminal that your browser fetches from third-party APIs (Site).
• Dryup: a sobriety streak counter with two daily messages (Bot).
• Santala Bot: prices, charts, conversions, watchlists, price alerts, a portfolio calculator, an AI market brief, a social-video download command and a Mini App dashboard (Bot). Free accounts have limits (currently 5 alerts and 15 watchlist coins); Premium removes them.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time. Content and features are provided free of charge except Premium.

4. Not financial, investment, legal or tax advice

Nothing on the Site or in the Bots is investment, financial, trading, legal, tax or any other professional advice, and nothing is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any crypto asset, token or security. All content is educational and informational. Crypto assets are volatile and you may lose all of the money you put in. Any decision you make is your own; consult a licensed professional before acting.

Santala Research is not a licensed or registered crypto-asset service provider, exchange, broker, investment adviser or securities firm in any jurisdiction, and is not supervised by any financial regulator. We do not advertise, promote, market or solicit investment in any crypto asset, token or platform. We accept no paid promotions, affiliate commissions or sponsored content; if that ever changes it will be disclosed on the relevant page. Past performance and historical data are no guide to future results.

You are responsible for complying with the laws of your country, including any restrictions on holding or trading crypto assets.

5. AI-generated content

News summaries, the Radar, research briefs and the Santala Bot market brief are generated automatically by large language models (Google Gemini on the Site, Anthropic Claude in the Bot) from public sources. This section is our disclosure that they are AI-generated; the News page also states the model used. They are published under the editorial responsibility of Santala Research, but they are produced without a human reviewing every cycle and may contain errors, omissions, outdated figures or misinterpretations. Treat them as a starting point for your own reading, never as a basis for decisions. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct or withdraw the item.

6. Third-party data and services

Market data comes from CoinGecko, Binance, Alternative.me and public Ethereum nodes; news headlines come from the publishers linked in each item; the Bots run on Telegram. We do not control these services and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of their data. Their own terms apply to your use of them. Links to external sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

7. Intellectual property and permitted use

Original texts, analyses, reports, graphics, code and design of the Site and Bots are owned by Santala Research and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, logos and trademarks (including Telegram, CoinGecko, Binance) belong to their owners. Purely factual market data and public-domain information are not claimed.

You may, without asking: read, link to and share our pages; quote reasonable excerpts with attribution and a link; read our RSS feeds and llms.txt files with feed readers and AI assistants for personal use.

You may not: republish substantial parts of our content commercially without written permission; remove attribution; present our content as advice or as your own; or use automated tools in a way that overloads our servers or circumvents the rules in robots.txt.

Video download command: it retrieves publicly available videos on your instruction. You are solely responsible for having the right to download and use that content and for respecting the platform's terms and the rights of creators. We store neither the link nor the file.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; probe, scan or attack the Site, the Bots or the servers behind them; use the Bots to spam, harass or scam others; reverse-engineer or resell the Bots; or use the services for any unlawful purpose. We may restrict or block access from users, chats or networks that violate these Terms, without notice where necessary to protect the service.

9. Telegram Bots: service terms

• Availability. The Bots run on small infrastructure operated by us and depend on Telegram and third-party APIs. They are offered as available; alerts and scheduled messages may be delayed or missed and should not be relied on for time-critical decisions.
• Dryup is a habit tracker, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat or replace professional help. If alcohol use is harming you, please contact a healthcare professional or a local support line.
• Santala Bot portfolio and alert features are calculators that work on the numbers you enter and on third-party prices. They are not brokerage, custody or advisory services and we never hold your funds or keys.
• Data stored by the Bots and how to delete it are described in the Privacy Policy. You can stop using a Bot at any time by blocking it in Telegram.

10. Santala Bot Premium (paid with Telegram Stars)

• Seller: Santala Research (details in section 1). Purchases are made inside Telegram; Telegram processes the payment under its Stars Terms. We never see card or wallet data.
• Price and term: 100 Telegram Stars for 30 days of Premium per Telegram account, shown before you confirm. The price may change for future purchases; a change never affects a period already paid.
• What you get: the free limits are removed (unlimited alerts and watchlist) and the AI market brief is unlocked, as described in the bot at the time of purchase.
• Starts immediately, no auto-renewal. Premium is activated the moment Telegram confirms payment and runs for 30 days; buying again extends the period. It never renews automatically and we never charge you without a new confirmation from you.
• Refunds and withdrawal. Because the service starts immediately at your request, you acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal for digital services ends once activation begins, where such a right exists in your country. Nevertheless, if Premium does not work as described, or if you ask within 14 days of purchase for any reason, we will refund the full amount in Stars through Telegram. Ask by email or via the /paysupport command in the bot, giving the payment date. Unresolved disputes can also be reported to Telegram via @BotFather. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.
• Taxes: Stars are priced by Telegram; any taxes are handled per Telegram's Stars Terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and the Bots are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Santala Research shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or the Bots, including decisions based on published or AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Premium purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the period concerned.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the mandatory law of your country of residence, including consumer-protection law. Clauses that a court finds void under such law are replaced by the closest enforceable term.

13. Indemnity

If you are not a consumer, you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or the Bots.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time and stop a Bot by blocking it in Telegram. We may suspend or terminate access to the Bots for breach of these Terms or if we discontinue a service; if we discontinue Premium during a paid period we will refund the unused part pro rata.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the country where Santala Research is established (Vietnam), to the extent that the mandatory law of your own country does not provide otherwise. Before any formal step, please write to us; we aim to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days. Disputes that cannot be settled shall be brought before the competent courts of Hanoi, Vietnam, unless mandatory rules of your country of residence (for example EU or UK consumer-protection rules) entitle you to bring proceedings in your own courts; those rights are unaffected.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The new version and its date are posted on this page; material changes affecting Bot users are also announced through the Bots at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, stop using the service and, for a current Premium period, contact us for a pro-rata refund.

17. General

• Languages. These Terms are published in English and Spanish. The English version governs; the Spanish version is a courtesy translation.
• Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.
• No waiver. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site and the Bots.
